REVIEWS OF LET THE DEAD HOLD YOUR HAND

I read it in one sitting- couldn’t put it down. It has alittle of everything; murder, mystery, politics & religion

A novel to lose ones self in.

His knowledge of history, food, and culture blend into the story as he takes you from past to present day Spain. I could see it as a film but not sure if they could do it justice.

This high octane thriller is well researched and imbued with as much Spanish history as contemporary tensions in Europe. Bradbury is, knowingly or not, following in the footsteps of Orwell and making political writing a modern art form

Bradbury is the new Dan Brown! Incredibly well researched and brilliantly written. Historical detail comes alive in the twists of the contemporary plot.

Thought provoking.

Hooked from the first page.

Captivating debut novel. Loved the characters. Great ending! Great read! Highly recommended

Couldn’t put it down. Vivid descriptions of both past and present that make you feel as if you are watching it not reading it.

Transports you to authentic Spain.

The author knows his Spain. Great pace. An unusual backdrop for the story which had different characters well drawn. Great first novel!

Preciosa novel political / detectivesca on un trasfondo histórico muy bien documentado y unos personajes interesantes. Espero la segundo parte! Muy recomendable!

A genuine ‘can’t put down’ novel.

THE DAUGHTERS OF THE DEAD

Continuing the exciting adventures of Lucy E Hawksmoor as she strives to overcome the many dangers associated with finding the final resting place of Boabdil, the last king of the Moors. The author's detailed knowledge of Spanish history and culture and his great story-telling brings the story to life so that you feel you are side by side with Lucy as her dangerous adventures unfold. A great story and gripping finale keep you hooked until the very end.

If you haven't I would suggest you order them together, and like me start a journey with Lucy E. Hawksmoor you are unlikely to forget for a very long time.

I'm still hoping there may be a budding film director out there who can do this fantastic writing justice; these books really would make a fantastic film.

Compelling read - great characters and dialogue support an exciting race against a threatening group and individual. Politics and religion thread through historic and contemporary Spain. A great sequel but also a standalone story.

I'm afraid I'm not a writer and I struggle to convey to you how much you will love these books. We like them so much that we have decided to visit the Alhambra as soon as we can to experience some of the wonderful history first hand.

I wondered how the sequel would go and was not disappointed, my opinion only but for me this is better than the first.
